Today we made real gingerbread men after enjoying the story all week. The children had great fun exploring how the dough felt and using the tools to roll out and cut their men.

The children have carried on with their interest in their bodies and worked together to create their own skeleton model today.

The children compared themselves against each other and used a tape measure and scales to measure each other.

We would like to inform you that we will be having some essential work and major refurbishment projects completed at the nursery over the Easter holiday period and, rather than close we have chosen to remain open for your convenience.

We created a skeleton hand picture and talked about the number and different size of bones in hands and bodies.

They enjoyed making cards for their families and friends and took great pleasure from giving them to each other during the session.

We were able to also focus on skills such as counting, turn taking, negotiating and listening to each other as we worked with our friends.
