Lickhill Road, Calne (birth to 5 years)

In Calne, we have two premises within walking distance of each other. Lickhill Road takes babies, toddlers and pre-school children. Our baby room is very much a home from home that has a range of open-ended, tactile resources and activities that help babies develop their motor skills and learning to control their bodies. We have plenty of space and resources that allow little ones to develop mobility, dexterity and language, on their way to becoming a toddler.

We have an outdoor ‘baby garden’ and a designated area for messy activities. We provide cots enabling babies to sleep and encourage family dining from a young age. Toddlers have their own area within the nursery with age-appropriate toys and activities including a cosy reading corner, a construction area where they can investigate building, a messy table where they can create their own artwork and a malleable area. Toddlers are encouraged to enjoy early maths, develop their language skills, undertake creative play and relax at story time.

Preston Lane, Lyneham (birth to 5 years) 

At our Lyneham site, we care for children from  baby to 5 years old. The nursery is just a short walk from the popular Lyneham Primary School and the centre of Lyneham village. The nursery is divided into large and small play and exploration areas offering resources and equipment to suit the needs of different age groups and development.   We promote independence, curiosity and active learning and both classrooms have access to outdoor space. Our aim is to help children be prepared for school, achieved by following key areas of the Early Years Foundation Stages (EYFS).

Fynamore, Calne (Pre-school for 3-5 years) 

The pre-school is within walking distance from our nursery and is the grounds of Fynamore Primary School. Our pre-school helps children prepare for school and continue to develop their love for learning through play. Your child will grow in confidence and develop all the skills required to embrace primary school life. We also work with you to make sure the whole family are ready for the big move. There is a more structured approach to their day including a variety of music, science and creative play. We encourage activities with adult interaction and a structured routine which are all part of preparing children for school.
