We are now recruiting a qualified and experienced Leader for the Under 3’s Unit to join our busy and expanding team based in our beautiful setting in Calne, Wiltshire.

We are looking for that special person who has experience of working with babies and toddlers and has been a senior practitioner in their current role.  This role is third in charge of the setting and covers for the deputy manager in their absence. We are looking for someone with a ‘child centred approach’ alongside excellent organisation skills, a passion to deliver high quality childcare for early years children and a proven ability to lead their team to deliver these outcomes. We are looking for someone with:

• Minimum Level 3 early years qualification.
• Educated to GCSE or equivalent.
• Proven recent experience of running or working in a busy early years setting.

The successful candidate will be required to:

• Maintain a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people within the setting.
• Deliver a consistently high standard of EY learning and teaching in line with the nursery ethos, policies and curriculum.
• Be responsible for ensuring that the observation and planning process within your room meets the needs of all children and their interests and for managing all areas of your room.
• Understand the requirements and legislation concerning Equal Opportunities, Health & Safety
• Deal with child protection matters appropriately, respond to incidents effectively
• Support the setting manager / deputy manager to provide professional leadership of the room.
• Be third In Charge of the setting and cover for the deputy in their absence.
• Ensure accurate records are maintained.
• Ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are always maintained.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Cook to join our busy team at Lyneham.

Our ideal candidate will have a catering qualification/Food Hygiene Certificate as well as having experience of working within a catering environment.

You will play an important role working with the team to promote and provide a healthy and nutritious diet whilst ensuring any dietary requirements are met and clearly communicated across the team.

You will be required to assume responsibility for the kitchen, cooking and presenting age-appropriate food to a very high standards in a clean, tidy, and safe environment at all times.

You will work alongside the management team to ensure that all safeguarding procedures are followed in line with the Local Authority whilst following our company policies and procedures.
